Social media influencer and content creator Kayla Nicole Jones is facing a lawsuit from her hairstylist, who alleges that the influencer assaulted her during a work trip in Los Angeles.

The lawsuit was filed by Hanissatou Adam, who is professionally known as Nissa The Super Stylist. According to court documents, Adam claims the alleged incident occurred in 2024 while the two were traveling together to work on a music video project.

In the legal filing, Adam says tensions between the two began during the trip after she asked Jones several questions that reportedly irritated the YouTuber. She alleges that Jones warned her to stop asking questions and even threatened to slap her if she continued.

According to Adam, the situation escalated the following day after they had spent a long day working on the music video production. She claims she overheard Jones complaining about the way she was being treated during the project.

Adam says she tried to resolve the matter calmly. In the lawsuit, she stated that she attempted to address the situation in what she described as “a calm and reasonable manner,” hoping to clear up any misunderstanding between them.

However, the hairstylist alleges that the conversation quickly turned confrontational. According to the court documents, Jones allegedly became increasingly angry during the exchange. Adam claims the influencer then “swung her arm in an intentional manner and contacted” her eye during the argument.

Following the alleged altercation, Adam says she left the immediate area and retreated to her room inside a shared Airbnb property where the team had been staying during the trip.

She claims that after the incident, she contacted a friend and asked to be picked up from the property. According to the lawsuit, she waited inside the room until the ride arrived.

Adam further alleges that while she was inside waiting to leave, Jones continued shouting insults at her from outside the door.

The hairstylist is now suing Jones for assault, battery, and emotional distress, claiming the incident caused her harm and significant emotional impact.

At the time the lawsuit became public, representatives for Kayla Nicole Jones had not issued any official statement or response regarding the allegations. The case is expected to proceed through the legal process as the claims are reviewed in court.
